Mr. Edward George Henry broke his arm, playing basket Ball. Friday, March 22, 1901 To day is beautiful and cool and sunny. all of us well, my cough much improved I wrote to day to Ada Badger, and to Mrs. Henry. After Luncheon Mrs. Shreve & Mrs. A.C. Badger. took the Carriage and went to see Mr. & Mrs. Charles Shreve, who have just returned from Palm Beach. They both look well, although Mr. Shreve is not, Mrs. Shreve is much improved They enjoyed their trip, and met many friends Mrs. Satterwhite her daughter brought in her baby to show us named blank When we returned home, Miss Marie Moore called and we had a pleasant visit, she is very pretty and a great talker, her Grandmother is Mary Shreve, Goodloe Ransom Bullitt. Much to our regret, we had at six Oclock a telephone telling us that Mr. Edward Henry a devoted friend of David Badger, and of all the family. had a fall while playing blank and broke his right arm at the elbow. this same arm, he has broken twice before. David went right over to see him, although he was all dressed, and Carriage ready to take him and Miss Boak to Mrs. George Kendrick to spend the evening. Miss Boak & Mrs. I F. Badger went to Mrs. Hendricks, David found Ms. Henry suffering much with his broken arm.
