At Rev. T. Edward's Study, Cin. O., (10 A.M.) May 23.1858. My Dear Wife & children - We are now all well as you see above at Mr. Edwards's. Arrived in Cin. Saturday afternoon about 5 1/2 - where we met with Mr. Edwards and several of the bretheren at the Depot - preached that evening - and three times yesterday to a full and attentiveaudience - the Methodists and Baprists having given up their services to attend with us. I hope you are able to get along at home with [] - as for me I feel ver happy so far, and thankful that I have come - my health very good indeed. We have [[]] toether in a beloved family - rooms spacious and comfortable. Mr. [[]] S. Griffiths = one of the three sons in this place of Re. S. Griffiths, Hovel We are going this afternoon to Paddy's Run, to preach then this [[]] and [[]] at 1- A.M. tomorrow - Cin again in the evening = and then to Columbus against Wed. evening = Neward to commecce the meeting Thursday evening. = We are going in a carriage of some kind to Paddy's Run & back, Wm . S. Griffiths going to drive for us. - I have now some things for Lewis to notice on Cenhadn acct. 1. To acknowledge on cover the receipts of $15.50 from J. L. Thomas of Tallmage, O,. It is on theMail Book of 1857 - but not acknowledged as it ought to have been in Feb. or March.
