Boston Oct 13, 1856 Dear Sister Abby I recd yours of the 7th inst. also one enclosed from my old Cul...a friends -- I thank you very much for your kindness in writing. And say to Chandler 'thank you Sir' (for me) and tell him all is right in regard to what he alludes - I will answer the western letter soon and tell a fair story as possible -- I am well as usual - felt quite smart -- have been generally well -- I have staid longer than I expected where I am - don't expect to remain there this winter - shall know soon though - Mr. W is going to New York in a few days to make a short stay - If good big pay is in prospection of course I might stay - Business is getting still -- I think I cannot fail to jump into something profitable by another spring - I went to hear The Parke yesterday AM. went to Somerville & took Dinner with Mr Wilder yesterday - took tea at cousin Mary's All well - & all right for Zi no- I think
