Ohio, none of them being known bi(?) us. (?) hard all (?) Afternoon, & we did not get off until near sun-down. When the Capt. concluded to go through the Canal. but spent all night getting through as one large boat and several each barges (?) ahead of us. 21st Passed one pleasant (crossed out) pretty looking town today (?)
