I have not been away from home for more than a yr to be gone more than a week at a time something new for me is it not? but have not been at home more than 4 week at a time since I closed my school - Mr. Baldwin has been for me to take No 5 school again since I engaged at Petersham Mr. Ira Neaten was burried last week - Hoshell Dunton died last night. Dr Pockurd has burried his daughter Mrs Hoshell that was south. Jane Bryant is to be married soon also Adelphia Mr Weeds house &c are to be sold the 9th of this month - Frank White is going to teach this winter - Cousin J. B. Kendall I saw last week he appeared finely and is doing well he inquired for you and asked to be remembered to you his wife's health is very poor Augusta came home last week came home with me at noon wished you and the remainder of the cousins here - she sends her love - E. Wilson teaches at Petersham the first Dist. from her fathers she & Nathan send their respects to you
