I am enjoying them so much I do not think I shall come back for several weeks yet as I suppose I am not to teach I sometimes wish I could just step in and see you all & help myself to a few things I want I only care to get back & make you all a visit and get to St. Louis to spend the winter. I hope you will make arrangement to visit St. Louis & spend sometime when I go. I think you & Mary had better make your arrangements to go with me & then N & D come for you what say you & the rest to it? I go there to spend the winter I expect. Mrs. [illegible] (a sister of Mr. Bennet) was in to see me yesterday and said she was looking for him here. If he is coming I would much like to have you send any materials for painting my [illegible] talma & my merino drapes & pieces of them or at least my light one & its pieces?
