first copy of the Courier appendix regarding the poem August 19, 1899. It is merely introductory to the story and the first line is, "O! the world was full of the summer time" It contains 3 stanzas. I will look at it again when I go to the capital. In my last trip there I found the room and table in use by another researcher and did not accomplish much–though I did find some exciting suggestions in 1893. Those warm spring days in March didn't deceive us too much, though the gardeners made good use of them. The big snow and following freeze damaged our fruit prospects and spoiled some flowers. We had a whiff of plum blossoms and a taste of asparagus anyhow! Now, let's not have any more freezing, please Mr. Weatherman. I speak also for less wind!
