Dispatch received from MacKenzie to October thirteeth (30th) at his Supply Camp. He sends in three Cavalry Companies for recuperation. He wishes them gotten ready with Companies at Concho and McKavett, to join him as a fresh column about last of January, relieving the five (5) Companies now with him, which by that time will be used up. Had he not better meantime operate from his present camp and postpone establishment on McClellan's Creek until the fresh column joins him.
