ML making preparation to start for Fort Union, and unclear? for proceeding down the River. M Laidlaw left Fort Pierre for Fort Union at 1/4 past 11. We left at 2 same day. Landed at The Farm procured some Corn and a few Potatoes and 1 Pig. we had w others on board. We crossed the River and landed for the night. __ 15th Friday.
