I might write a little more if I only know what to write but fret that today you are sick I can not write as I would if you were well. I will write again as soon as I hear from you again which I hope will be soon and in the engagement of health again yet I cannot expect you are going to be frequently well for some time. I don't want you to worry about me you are surrounded by kind friends who I think will do all they can for you. We will trust in God for all things. I will say no more this time. I will hope for the best that my dear wife may be restored to health and we will meet again sweet my dear Franny. Accept this from your dear husband Otis.
