Bivoucked at Manchester, June 28th, 1863. Dear Aunt R., We are on the forward move for the rebel stronghold of Chatanooga, (at least, it has been represented as such,) after so long a waiting, and I will try, in the limited time I have left after trying to clean off a little of the secesh soil with which myself, as as well as the rest, are covered up to our knees, and sundry daubs of it at other points, to give some account of the progress of our division up to this point. But of the results of the movement you will probably get news in the papers before this reaches you. It is now Monday morning and I have not had time to write
