Cameron Mo. June 12th 1861 Brother Walter, Yesterday I was elected 1st Lieut of [underline] Horse Guards [underline end] and will you send me on receipt of this a [underline] dress sword [underline end] a good article but plain. We are formed to keep the disuniosts in check. Send me a sword and sash and two Lieuts. epaulets by express and I will pay you. They are not to be got here. Please send them and oblige you Brother.
