An Excelent Water for all old sores, ulcers and Cankers and especially those that come of the french Poxc. Take 2. earthen Potts that have not ben [us]ed the one of the 2. gallons to be set on the fire [t]he other a longe pot like to a Butter [Builter?] pott [c]ontayning 3. gallons which is to be filled with [s]tone lyme a third part full or more [F]ill your other pot with faire running water setting it over the fire till it be ready [t]o boyle; then powre it into the Pot which [h]ath lyme, Cover it and let it stand 24. houres. Then take the clearest of that water and put it into vial glasses. Use it being warmed bloud warme to wash the abovesaid sores it is a soveraigne.
Approved Remedies for Corns or agnails [F]irst pare the Corn very low then apply [t]he fat of a rabbets kidney therto and [w]ynde a fine cloth about it renewing it [e]very night. At a few dressings it will [?]hal you may easily pluck it out by the roots.
for the same Mixe the powder of burnt Allome with red waxe and having first pared the Corne, Apply it.
To make a loose tooth fall out Rub it with the game {amendment: gome (Old English= gum)} of Ivy: but beware you touch not any other.
