No sooner had the chief gone, than some of the others demanded pulling off at the same time my belt, another took my hat and a third, my cassock and a fourth, my shirt. Finally the rest pulled off my shoes and stockings. They left me only my drawers, which were even demanded by some who said they had dreamed of them, but my conductors opposed themselves to these observers of bad dreams, and saved me from the hands of those who wished to kill me.
