The Inglish in Virginia have but one Town, which is James Town. and that deserves not the name of Town, for it consists but of twenty or thirty Houses, and most of them are ordinaries, for the accomodation of such, as have business at ye generall Courts & Assemblies; In the rest of ye plantations they have Towns except in Carolina.
