May this soon reach you and find you all in health, we are all well on board. -- I often think of you and our little darlings and soon hope to see you, and be able to gratify little "Maggy" as long as such must take place, I hope all may be well. --

My Dear Wife I hope you will be able to bear up under your present condition, with the expectation of seeing me home in time, I will write you from Memphis and probably from some point below. --
