8/31/72 Dear Slim, It was so very good to see you and have the pleasure of your company in Chicago. I only wish that I had been able to figure out a way to see more of you, but I was kind of caught between only niece and only sister-in-law (the Philadelphia contingent) my mother's family (The Oakland, Calif.) contingent, and the post-wedding festivities I hadn't anticipated from the Chicago contingent. And the way it was done - the bride and groom showed up for all, so everyone who came to town to wish them well did, too. And I come from such a small family, too! Next time, I hope to see more of Slim and more of my mother as well. Would you (up) image of kitten and flowers - Thanks A Lot!
