meet together every Saturday morning, to recite lessons on the theory of music; and each one has some piece learned which she is to play at this time before the others, and the class is allowed to criticize. This is very pleasant, and, I think, improving. We gain confidence in ourselves, though your poor Anna has not much of that article yet; I often wish I had more confidence.
Anna has left this for me to
close. This is not such an easy matter for me just now as it might be.
We have seen much this spring
such as we never saw before. It is now fast-drying. Winds sweep strongly over these prairies and much is quickly changed to clouds of dust.
I find myself very much occupied
with various duties, especially since the meetings have begun. Pray that grace may be given me to do all aright. With much love from Anna & Jennie.
