holiday toast to your health, wealth, and happiness. Enclosed is a column by Mike Royko on Nelson Algren written during Queen Jane Byrne's reign. Perhaps you read it when it first came out. 

   The Chicago Tribune sometime ago had a good book review of your latest "The Weed King & Other Stories."  I sent a copy to Irv Friedman and will send a copy to Baron Emil Maximilian von Mortel.  I obtained a copy of your "Weed King" at Stuart Brent's bookstore.  He is forced to move soon because the avaricious Scrooge of a landlord raised his rent outrageously.  Stuart plans to open a cultural center and bookstore at another location not yet announced.  No rock & rollers, Babbits or Yuppies will be allowed.
