Albuquerque, N.M. November 20, 1981 Dear Jack and Gladys,

I have joined the Pueblo Indians and am pursuing Candide's simple life here in the Southwest. However, all good things end. So I'll be back to the grind in Chicago next week.
I have invaded the domains of D. H. Lawrence and Kit Carson in Taos and roamed the Santa Fe trail in old Santa Fe. Enjoy a good Thanksgiving.

Welker H.
