Huntsville Dec 20th 63 Sabbath evening

My Dear Mother

I am almost ashamed to [acknowledge?] that I have recieved 5 or 6 letters from home since I wrote the last. My last was dated Dec 1st and This is Dec 20th, but I never was guilty of such a thing before, and never will be so again. Well mother you have been wanting me for some time to have my picture taken for you. I have many pictures taken for you. On last Monday I went down town and did so. The boys say it is me exactly. And when you get it you can see if I have changed or not. It is in a case
