one company lost six men at one station on the road. Direct to Camp near Covington KY. I am getting sleepy shall send this in the morning. Send me some paper envelopes and some blue yarn for darning stockings. Tuesday morn our trains arived during the night thirteen in number we are all ready for the field now. I have found my blanket but not the thief, and sold the one I bought for as much as I paid for it. With much love to all I remain you brother Carlie
