June 14, 72 Dear Jack,

    Thanks for the copy of "December."  I've glanced through it and found it has some good stuff.  The pictures of the ladies on the back cover gives the magazine a solid bottom and leads to further exploration.
    Phil Bonosky has recovered from his malaise, has a good editorial agent in the offing, is sticking to the "old" agent who has his manuscript out to some publishing house.  Its all a secret, dealing with Berthold Files.  Do you know the gent?
   We are getting ready for a short stay in Chicago over the weekend, and I plan to take December along with me.
