Mr. Zigriosser? at Wey? he's was very nice to me. He said they would take some of the watercolors but advised me to see Marie Harmiman? and Marie Stevens and the Downtown Gallery. It was Saturday and both Marie Harmiman? and Marie Stevens were out. Zigriosser? had thought they might possibly give me a one man show. The Downtown Gallery wouldn't look at my work. They said they were piled up with stuff and couldn't take on any more artists. I stayed over until Monday and then found that Marie Hermmiman? would only look at work left there. She didn't want the artist present. I would feel the same way. She wasn't there the girl told me all this. The girl told me Mrs. Harriman? was very flighty and even if she liked my work would be very apt to forget me by Fall.
