I'll be reading The Disinheritedunderlined for the umpteenth
time in the fall semester. I'll be using it, once more, in my "US between the Wars" course. I am very happy that Lawrence Hill reissued it. I can introduce it to still more generations of young people.
My book is almost out, at last. Due in
October, unless Pantheon screws up yet again. Someday I'll tell you about the tribulations I've had with them, most of them caused by sheer sloppy & disorganized management. It should have been out this month, at the latest.
Two more weeks and we head back to
good old rural New Hampshire for 3 months. It's time you came up for a good long visit with us.
Love from us both, Dave Wyman
The Sage of (now nuclear- free-zone, believe it or not) Amherst. (Next year, the Town Meeting will probably ratify he Kellogg Peace Pact.)
