Mr. Donald A. Bowden; Moberly Missouri,
Dear friend, I hope in recieving this letter of mine you are in good health, during your trip in coming home. For myself I am O.K. with my wife and kids. I was waiting to recieved one of your letter, but I never got even one since leave for states, so I took the pen and you. I was very unlucky since you leave all your rooster you gave all lost, and since the 41st left for Japan, money are scarse no more Laundry and no work yet, all the money we got when all the Army was here, We spent for food, clothing. Now we are waiting for a chance to work. And beside rice here is P1.80 per ganta and fish is one peso a kilo. And for the Japs there are some in Sibuco yet. They are scattered from diferent places and, they are not harmles as the days when you invaded. No more
