Dear Mr. Conroy:

Friends of American Writers would like to have you as an honored guest at its annual Award Luncheon held Wednesday, March 23rd, 12 o'clock in the Gold Room of the Congress Hotel.
The award for the best Midwestern novel published in 1948 - written by an author from the Midwest - will be presented at this luncheon. You will meet other authors, representatives of the Press and literary publicity editors. An early favorable reply will be welcomed as I must prepare the printed programs.
Cocktails will be served from 11:15 to 11:45 in the English Room, same floor, near entrance to Gold Room.

Sincerely yours, Louise R. Boynton (Mrs. F. Percy)
