Thank you Mr. Conroy for your thoughtful and unexpected reply. Thank you especially for your '63 reviews of your "The Disinherited". (When I wrote my note to you, I knew nothing of you or your book.) Now I have ordered a copy and asked the Librarian of our Newman Catholic high school to read it herself with the purpose of placing it in the Library. I am the oldest living graduate of the school (66 yrs old next Feb.) and unclear that the students of "my" school know an "unfaked piece of narrative, etc." about the '30s.
