Did I tell you that I enjoyed The Amer. Book Collector, your review and piece by Judy Rayford - ? Hear he is peddling a novel in New York, but no sale as yet. He gets a spell and writes a 3-page letter, then I don't hear from him for about a year - like now, haven't heard from him - he has a friend in Washington that I call up and find out what's what in re to Judy. His friend says he thinks Judy lives with a brother in Theodore, Alabama - not far from the bayou where Lafitte the pirate hung out and was supposed to bury some of his treasure. So far no one has found the treasure!?
Sally Brown is now a grandma - her daughter having a son - all the grandmas I knew were old - seems strange to have young grandma today - I never saw a "young" grandma when I was growing up. 'Course, Sally aint a young grandma neither.
