Dear Gladys & Jack:

 Today is Thanksgiving day & it has, rained, 

snowed & now sunshine. here. Mother was buried yesterday. She had been down in bed for 2 months. Had a fine lady live-in & care for her. She had a stroke on Sat 14th rt. side useless, couldn't talk, could swallow only a little liquid & when it reached her stomache, she yelled with pain. She kept her home as she wanted to stay. Dr said the only thing she needed was good Nursing care & we could give her that at home. I gave her shots for the pain. She was in a coma the last 24 hrs. She looked beautiful yesterday - So relaxed & peaceful, as tho she had not been ill. She enjoyed your visit so much when you were out here. Hope you are all fine.
