Thursday - 15th Dear Comrade:

  No. 16 of R. Poet has been forwarded to me.  I like the cover arrangement better than previous issues.  The idea of producing Unrest 1932 to sell for $1.00 & .50 is excellent - it will not affect the contents and should make a wider distribution possible.  I am not in a position to give either financial of [sic] physical aid at present - perhaps in a month or two.
   I am in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, in the Rockfish Valley, among share-croppers and tenant farmers.  I have not been so poor in my life, and altho I am here mainly for my health - I would like to help in some way the R. Poet.  In a month or so I hope to be back in the city where
