in pencil Rogers, John C.

 14 Dec 1976

Jack oboy oboy:

Season's greetings and stuff and stuffings.
Judy called me Friday evening - out of hospital he said, wished me a good Holiday,

said he was trying to get the Welsh ceremony off the ground. Late Grant Code said Judy wanted a Welsh parade in New York - Grant told Judy there were "too many parades in New York." and to forget. Grant also said Madoc was a myth - never was such an explorer. You know Judy - we all know Judy - make a silk purse out of cow's ear given the chance. Have Paul Bunyan as President of Virginia beef eaters or sumpin'. [sic]

Think I broke three more ribs - feel like it. Just grin and bear it - can't go to doc with THAT again!?!
Wrote to Beyond Baroque Foundation - did I tell you Thanks for info. No typewriter yet.
    !Salud! Jack II.

on side Berkeley Jr. at Univ. of Va. think you have a paragraph missing from your estimable article - from end of page one to beginning of Page 9? Do you?
