the literature of the 1930's that are going to appear soon in universities. Eventually Dolphin will see the light. I have real hopes that underlined: The Disinherited will be back in print, which is where it ought to be.

    The publishers sent me a copy of Dan Aaron's book.  It looks good.  I've been wildly busy with new courses this fall and haven't even read the daily paper.  (No great loss there.)  It has been a lousy year, but I hope 1962 will be better for us all.
