Aug 7, 1970 Dear Mr. Conroy,

I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to your graduation card, but this has been a busy summer for me. I'm thoroughly enjoying my work with Sears although it keeps me running all the time! One week I worked 54 hours (14 hours free gratis) but since then I've slowed down a little. I haven't written anything lately except a 20 page paper on Flannery O'Connor which I whipped up in one day for Dr. Creed. Needless to say, it got the C it deserved. But I was already in my 4th month of full time work with Sears and studying was far from my mind. I did manage to pull out that diploma, though.
I'm moving in a couple of weeks to another apartment here in Birmingham. How long I will be here only Atlanta knows. My new address will be 111 16th Place SW, Apt 20-C Birmingham Alabama, 35211, only about a mile from the college.
