Dear Sherwood: - Am sending some English Ivy - 2 kinds. you can throw some water on it & keep it for some

days before planting. In a few years it will give your fine place an old air. I was greatly impressed by your son John & think he has something & has in him the power & approach to develop it. He is ideally placed.

Have been listening for days to that droning drivel. It was terrible as is the candidate - possibly the whole

thing is just a part of the disintegration process going on. After that drive to your place & a big feed, I felt right for the first time in a week & have since. I had an enjoyable visit.
