Ocean Springs, Miss. 11-22-'80 I'm on my way to New Orleans after a trip thru Tenn. Al. Ga. Miss. In Tenn visited one of my grandsons & two of my great grandchildren who live on a commune (the Farm) 1100 acres - fabulous place. Scenicly, trip beautiful BUT the K.K.K. - Nazis underlined: very active & visible in the small towns in the hills & mts. A friend of yours from the U. of Mo. Kansas City interviewed me about you just before I left Chi. Best to you and Gladys. P.S. Oct 13 "Newsweek" has interview with Studs Terkel & me - pp. 114-120
