Dear John, It is awfully nice of you to offer to come and get me. I would like to come but I can't right now. Right now the situation is such that it is a life and death matter to get or some sort of an independent footing. My painting got worse and worse this winter and finally I got to the point where I just couldn't go on. I am working now on a thing I will try and sell to a syndicate.
