15 December 1949 Dear Wallie:

Tax has been away for almost 2 weeks now & I have been doing my best to keep things running.
I have billed all the St. Louis book stores with whom Charlotte placed orders - but I must repeat again what I wrote before - cant you send me any copies???
There are several orders just sitting on my desk for the book. Conroy has written about his Chicago contacts and seems to be doing well. Stu Brent (at the Seven Stores) has placed an order for 15 copies. But I cant act on none of this unless I have books.
How about it? Can you send all that you can spare?
When Tax comes back we can go into the matter of having more bound. But I can't do that without him. In the meantime, I need the books.

Sincerely, Robert (Robert Glauber)
