Oct. 1, 1973 Jack o'boy o'boy:

Thot you might want to see review of Fabre's book on Richard Wright - I sent Fabre some

copies. don't suppose he subscribed to Clipping Service? Dee Brown said he depended on his friends to send reviews and a clipping service sent you the bad reviews along with the good and he didn't want to pay for reading unfavorable reviews. Dee should down your way - they were going end of Sep - to look for a spot in the Arkansas Ozarks to live. Didn't you say Vance Randolph was at Fayetteville? I knew a fellow in service, Billy Martin, from Snow Lake, Arkansas, but lost track of him years ago -

Thanks for catalogs re WRITERS in REVOLT - it should appeal to young collitch [sic] crowd,

and could be used in English and Creative Writing classes, don't you agree. Grant Code says he has seen only one review of his poetry book so far - I told him that local papers seldom review poetry - Cheers, JCR/
