     I am underlined:  so glad that you are appreciated as you should be & my mother, in Paradise, would be saying, "I always knew Jack Conroy was a special person."  She told me so.
     I heard from Ashley Buck recently.  I had asked him for the address of a place where I could sell old journals, both for myself & Mrs. Eiseley.  I have old underlined:  Fiction Parades,

a underlined: Story or two & she has a lot of underlined: Prairie Schooners & other magazines of that vintage.

  I am working myself to death here & I think I will stay in bed for a week when I come back to Moberly.  I have a lovely canopy bed that is like a little house.
