perhaps never was, at times overwhelms me - especially as the underlined: new year approaches.

    But I write (especially poems - so man, hard to type them up, and too lazy to send them out.  I do read them sometimes at public occasions here, and to friends).  underlined:  New Letters is publishing some poems in a future issue by a 23-year old friend of mine, Andrea Goodman - a wonderful poet and writer.
    And another friend (he's in his 40's) is having a first book of poetry out;  I am among the 4 people (he asked ) who wrote a blurb - or whatever it's called, for it.
    I embrace Gladys and you - and hope soon soon we may meet.
    May the holidays be kind to you both - and the new year a better one.
