  Apart from reading my poems (taped in advance) on WBAI twice in April - and once on their West Coast station (KPFA) in May - things seem suspended - as do I.
  I could say this has been my "season in hell."
  A sore (left) foot sent me to a series of drs. - none of whom thought of x-raying it.  Finally, one did - and frightened me into seeing a specialist.  More x-rays and blood tests showed a disintegrating bone.  The foot - like a wing - is most complicated - and an operation not advisable
