Wed. Oct. 7, 1973 Dear Jack-

The Ozark mag may be coals to Newcastle but here it is anyway.
Black World has notes on that late, great gentleman Arna Bontemps.
Here in the outer limits of Limbo I am often unaware of that great big world out there.
The Grim Reaper has gathered so many in recent days, Edmund Wilson, Conrad Aiken, W. H. Auden, Noel Coward, August Derleth, ------------ .
The issue of 'New Letters' that you sent some time back was loaded (fraught) with items of interest. I had our local library buy Gwen Brooks report from Part One. Cyrus Colter is building a solid, secure body of work.
I am also going to include the British Books and Bookmen because it has so many and varied reviews.

Best Wishes Bill Wedlake
