Dear Jack, Just run across your June 26 note again & feeling mellow with pre-holiday spirit decided you deserve at least a postal since we long ago gave up Xmas cards. H. is teaching full time this year, glad to be rid of the directorship of audio-visual here which meant a lot of TV work & other details. Plans to go to N.Y. Xmas & talk to Granville about a book of criticism of Br. lit. they would like to do together if they can get an advance. Ive been teaching ½ time in the Eng. dept. this year & last. What's new with you? H. keeps busy with reviews & I with a litter of Siamese, a garden & a deep freeze. Getting domestic in my old age - even made some preserves. We still love you & we miss your wonderful letters. Lucille
