postcard Thinking of You File:Woman seated at writing desk with feather pen

1/1/67 We do remember well how flattered we were at your reception in Moberly in 1936, was it? So sorry about the raw deal from the enclopedia. [sic] Mighty glad about Swados' anthology & what a wonderful piece Petakis had in underlined: Book News! David Madden was here a couple years, lived in our house last time we were in England. different handwriting At MLA in NYC I saw Hill and told him to treat you right. The paper-back underlined: Disinherited was displayed prominently and I hope doesn't have its sales hurt by the anthology (or do you get more from Swados?) Met Stanley Burnshaw at MLA reception, last met at underlined: NM office. NYC makes one appreciate Moberly, even Louisville. Best for a Hip New Year to you, Gladys. Love, H, L
