You are quite mistaken, Bro. Jack, in thinking that you were an Ishmael. You were one of the handsome reasons for the community's being what it was - 

   We had a double W C Fields bill here at the University recently, to the delight of all.  I had the added delight of hearing Fields speak in the very voice & intonation of my friend Conroy. -
    I shall be coming to Chicago one of these week-ends on a visit, & shall hope that you can spare time to give me a temperance lecture. -
