letter head INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF JAPAN 11-16, ROPPONGI 5-CHOME MINATO-KU, TOKYO 106 TEL: 470-4611 CABLE: INTERCUL TOKYO in pencil and ink in top margin 1978 Walsh, Frank

Dear Jack:

You will be glad to hear that Prof. Bowen is alive and well, living with his Ruthie in Tokyo and returning to U.S. this summer. Enclosed touching tribute, in Japlish, was given to him by colleagues when he left Ushike. "Being 68 years old "he will retire this fall, but he dreads it, poor boy.
Tell Gladys to quit falling downstairs. Longer letter due you when we get back. Turning for home June 13th, birthdays of both J. Diggles and J. Dunn. R.I.P.

Betty joins me in sending all the best to you two. As ever Frank added in different ink: (Walsh)
