Zebra Derby was 2nd on the best seller lists here 2 wks ago but suddenly dropped off.

   Get him to write something a propos in a copy and forward to me C.O.D.  You know, Silent Snake, Black Hawk etc.
   Did Nelse go with D.D.?  He should, unless he figures on free lancing.  Then the only sure thing he has is his 20 a week for a year from Uncle.
   Try and obtain Finch's address and Nelson's.  I'd like to drop them a line.
   I'm still bartending here.  About the most notorious spot in this city "The Liberty Bell."   Got drunk 2 days and got fired from The Linden Hotel, the last place.  Been at the "Bell" about 5 weeks, but doubt if I can hold out another 3.  You might see me in about a month as I plan a week-end trip to Hammond to re-instate by Boiler maker's card and go out on construction again this summer.
