   2nd   When I persisted - He (the cad) said he couldn't her me, as the phone was faulty
   3rd  After making sure I was Leaving AT midnight that same night, invited me to lunch with him on the morrow.
   4th  He was terribly busy, pleased that I called, did not receive that critical letter I wrote re:  opera review of his last summer, would I write again,  regards to my wife & kiddies, hello to you, if I saw you etc.
