the end of it by the opening of classes. It has been a long haul. 

 Midge is having a grand time in her garden. The official soil type is

"Paxton stony loam." But I call it "Paxton loamy stone." Still, it grows things fabulously well. Mostly it is probably Chicken's touch. 

 We have a new greyhound, name of Blazer (named for the Dog Star).

He is a sweet pup (15 months old).
